This all started with me sitting alone thinking about what to do. Then it hit me. Change the world. How can I waste all this time I have on my hands by watching junk TV? I decided it is time.
People say that no one person can change the world. They say that since you are small and weak it's not worth it. Just go along your merry way and don't think twice about the world around you. But you can change the world in your own small way.
Go save a puppy from a burning tree. Go plant a tree to replace that burned tree. Go save a kitten from the vicious puppy you saved from the burning tree. The list is endless.
I was walking on the beach through a field of fire crabs, contemplating how I might get out of this now very sticky mess. My very clothes were beginning to catch fire at the ruthless will of these crabs. So I started throwing them into the ocean. Their high pitched scream was unmistakable, and heard for at least a mile in every direction. One by one their flames were extinguished by my noble efforts, killing them in the process. A curious passerby said to me, "You know you can't make a difference, why do you even try?" And I replied, "It made a difference to that one."
Just like the fire crabs, your life can be changed in an instant by one person's small actions. And whether you're the real-life cat being eaten by a metaphorical dog or a fire crab being extinguished slowly just because someone thought it was a good idea, your life is changed by the actions of others. Think about it, wouldn't life be interesting in multiple pieces from the inside of a dog?
You only have one life to live. So help the others around you. If you see someone struggling, throw them in the ocean. Because really, they deserve it. Don't just stand idly by when an evil dog is dying in a burning tree, save the poor animal so it can live on to ruin lives and create chaos. And while you're at it, paint a painting of the whole ordeal and sell it for $1.7 billion. That would definitely change someone's life, I'm thinking.
And just like that, the world had changed. Before I sat down at this computer and ran my fingers along the keyboard, the world was just one psychotic blog short of a happy meal. And now, the wonderful world we live in is finally complete and we can all die happy. If anything I've said has inspired you today, remember to tell a friend. Share the inspiration. If we all help a little, we can all change the world.
